It’s Labor Day weekend. Relax, grab a cup of coffee (or beer), and snuggle up with your Sunday “Read These” Round-up:
1. Growing Up in Therapy- Lena Dunham wrote it. I only skimmed it so far, but it’s on my own to-read list, so I figured I would share it with you.
2. By the Silent Line: Photographer Pierre Folk Spent Years Documenting a Vanishing 160-Year-Old Parisian Railway-This piece has beautiful imagery. Chock-full of artistic inspiration.
3. I Was Paid $12.50 An Hour To Write This Story- Another to-read on my own list. This reminds me of what Kurt Vonnegut said to his son when he became discouraged after receiving $50 for an article that took him one week to write - something to the effect of, “but what would it have cost you to take out an ad that said ‘I can write’?”. That reference came from Armageddon in Retrospect, which I’m currently “reading” via audio book.
Enjoy, curious cats!
